Return Policy

Classification of Products

  • Stock Products sold by the piece, box, or full bolt may be returned within 30 days of delivery with a RA for a refund.
  • Custom or Special-Order Products cut, bent or designed by the customer cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Outlet Products are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Details

  • All merchandise must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, undamaged, saleable, with original packaging.
  • Returned merchandise must be properly packaged. Drapery hardware is easily scratched or damaged if not packaged as originally received. A damaged return that Brimar deems not resaleable, due to improper packaging by the customer, will not be refunded.
  • Brimar reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if returned merchandise is in saleable condition.
  • All returns must by authorized by Brimar and accompanied by a completed Return Authorization Form. Returns will not be accepted without a RA number that is emailed to you.
  • You are expected to cover the cost of return shipping, unless the item is damaged or defective. For your protection we recommend that you use a traceable and insurable form of shipment for your return, such as FedEx or UPS. Please ship your package to the address listed below.
  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
  • Once your return is received by Brimar and has passed inspection, your card will be credited the original price of the product within 5-10 business days. Any original shipping fees are not refundable.

Defective Goods

Brimar stands behind its products and warrants them to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship. However, seller’s sole obligation shall be to repair or replace, at their discretion, goods found to be defective.
Carefully inspect all products when they arrive. Please contact us immediately if your order arrives in defective or damaged condition. It is best if you can take a picture of your defective item and attach it to your email to us at brimar@brimarinc.com.

For Drapery Hardware Freight Shipments

You must open and inspect your order upon receiving it. Claims for freight damage or defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims will not be honored by the freight carrier or Brimar beyond this period if goods are damaged. The box or shipping tube must be saved pending examination.

For All Other Product Shipments

It is your responsibility to confirm the correct items have been received and are free of defects or damage before the product is installed or sent off to another party, for example a workroom, upholsterer, installer. You have 10 business days to inspect the goods and notify Brimar of any issues or claim. If you fail to inspect the goods or notify Brimar of any issues within 10 business days, Brimar assumes the goods are conforming.
